The first version of “upon the roof” i heard years back was on a double live cd from james, and at the time thought, that it was a song that he had written, not realizing till later that Carole king had let him perform it, and she was the original writer of it! James’s version of the song is best in my opinion, having heard both, but put them both together to make music, and its a real treat, ! The harmonies, and musicality, and everything.
